Iceland Food Guide is a free guide to eating in Reykjavík. We don't have accounts, and we don't ask for your name, email or location.
What stays on your device
My Trip, your list of saved places, is stored only in your own browser (local storage). It never reaches our servers. When you share a list, the link contains only the ids of the places on it.
Advertising and cookies
We show ads from Google AdSense to keep the guide free. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technology to show ads and measure them, based on your visits to this and other websites. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent first, and you can change your choice at any time from the privacy link Google shows on the page.
You can turn off personalized ads in Google's Ad settings, and read how Google uses data from partner sites in its partner sites policy.
Links to other sites
Restaurant websites, Google Maps and booking partners have their own privacy policies. Some booking links are affiliate links: we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and protect against abuse.
